Trellis

I had to build a trellis for one of the garden designers that I do work for. This one had to go around the corner of a house and the two sections were different sizes. I've built lots of trellises through the years and it wasn't a problem but I wanted to do a little different flower on top. I remembered Travis Baker's thread a week or so back and thought his twisted metal key chain would make a nice bloom as this trellis looked kind of like a yucca. Here's some pictures. I probably didn't do as good a job as he did because I did it with weldor methods and not a forge, but it came out all right. Attached Images

Reply:Hey good job!  I like it, its different than mine but very similar at the same time.  Im taking a stab you did a slit in each side of the metal then cut slits in the sections then twisted with oxy fuel?
Reply:Yes, I ground a groove in all four sides and then made cuts at the corners and heated it with a torch and turned it with a crescent wrench. I think it made a great yucca type bloom. Thanks again Travis for posting about it.
