I bought a second hand Miller Maxstar 140 STR (Stick/Tig)  but the guy didn't have the TIG accessories.  I called Miller and they told me that the accessories for the Maxstar 150 will fit perfectly on my machine.  It's and investment of $300-400.Thanks
Reply:If you know how to tig you will love it.Weld like a "WELDOR", not a wel-"DERR" MillerDynasty700DX,Dynasty350DX4ea,Dynasty200DX,Li  ncolnSW200-2ea.,MillerMatic350P,MillerMatic200w/spoolgun,MKCobraMig260,Lincoln SP-170T,PlasmaCam/Hypertherm1250,HFProTig2ea,MigMax1ea.
Reply:NO, I don't know but I think for $300-400 investment is worth it.  I really don't know what can you do with TIG.  I'm learning to weld with the stick and mig but hear very good thing about TIG

Reply:A quick look at the PDF for the 140 STR suggests that you need the following:1.  Torch with a gas valve and the proper DINSE connector.2.  Torch front-end parts/tungsten.3.  Argon regulator.4.  Hoses/fittings to connect your torch gas supply to your regulator.5.  Bottle of Argon. With a little bit of shopping around, I'd expect that you could get a new torch with a 25' cable assembly and new regulator for $200 or less (cheaper for import stuff).  With the exception of the deposit on my bottle, I have less than $400 into my entire TIG setup, including the 140amp Chinese inverter and gas fittings/front-end parts.  Keep in mind, that this may suggest that I have a higher pain tolerance than others.

Reply:Hey email me, i have the tig torch and the ground clamp, 12' i wont give up the finger control as thats the only reason i bought the setup, to rewire it to my 14 pin trailblazer. [email protected] forgot how to change this.
