Handicap - Assist Device

I really enjoy the posts and stories.  I don't want to be just a lurker.  I do actually strike an arc on occasion.  It just has been a long time and I don't have a shop yet.I made this for my wife.  She has a condition called CMT that affects the nerves is her extremities.  She is unable grip a gas pump nozzle tight enough pump her own gas.  While every station is supposed to assist any handicap patrons such help is rare.I made this handle for her.  She puts the pump nozzle in the tank.  The end of the handle hooks under the gas pump nozzle and the other hook rests on top.  Then she just pushes down on the wooden handle at the end.  No grip strength needed. Reply:What a smashing idea, Have you thought of approaching the gas stations and ask if they would like to sell your "Gas Pump Helper"Or even get in touch with some of the disability groups and see if they can take your idea forward.I think its brilliant idea and one to help people who through no fault of their own can't manage!Someone Buy this Man a Drink
