Reply:Wow...  So I guess you guys like it?!  When I started it was just supposed to be a simple one day thing that turned into a lot of work.  I was originally going to leave it in raw metal but I like the paint on it, adds character. Here's the skull head shifter (not perfect but gets the point across)And some guages on the dash...Last edited by CGCINC; 12-13-2012 at 09:10 AM.

Reply:That's awsome! Could you explain the painting process, how you got it to look aged like that? I've tried to do the aged look before and it ends up looking more like smeared paint on top of rust, ha ha!Powcon 400SM2-PD60 wire feedersMiller XR controlAlumapro push/pull gunSpeedglas 9100xBFH

Reply:now thats just bad ***That is way cool. I'm impressed you've put so much detail in it.  The car looks great. Every time I try to make something like this, I get distracted and lost well before its finished.
Reply:That is a work of art. How do you put a price on something that is a labor of love? Someday if I ever stop working 12 hours a day, I would love to sit down and try something like this. By then I'll probably have grandchildren and then I can do it for them. Keep up the great work! "Every choice you make will effect at least one other person"
Reply:Thanks everybody.... This is the truck I want in real life but I just can't afford to build it right now.  This thing took awhile and I did get tired of working on it with all the details.  Next one will have less parts n pieces.A few more pics...Plasma cut cooling fan... Engine block...
Reply:Very Very cool. The vintage paint is outstanding.  Did you paint first, or partially paint, then rust it?  Looks like you used salt and vinegar to get the rust?Great attention to detail.
