Never forget! Oldendum, just want you to know we remember your sons sacrifice as a USMC in Iraq. You never want to see your kids name on a granite wall, but you have my true respect! I have three sons that were marine infantry over there and now my fourth is going in, my hair is getting gray. You and your son are on my list of families we think and pray about on that little understood holiday.

Reply:Roy, Alex and Josh lost way too many buddies in Fallujah.  You told me his Battalion and MOS but I can't find it in my records.  I'm not sure if he fought with them or not.  I don't want this to get political but God bless you and Him, they were fighting evil in the purest form over there.

Reply:I have no idea where Karl got the AKs. He sure liked them though.His MOS was 1371, combat engineer.  He was with the 4th Combat Engineer Battalion C Company and was attached to the 1/23 Marines. Reply:Some of those embedded reporters were back stabbers and some were good.  Micheal Totten was with 3/5 Darkhorse and he covered them well. He still writes a lot about the middle east.
