Reply:Looks like it's grey and red. Could be a hydraulic head lift? Maybe it even keeps the head aligned when moving it?
Reply:Naw, it is blue and red. It does keep the head from rotating when you raise and lower it. Attached Images
Reply:mike, what does the base of your alignment rod look like ? is it attached the base of the mill or the table, surely it's the base.
Reply:Under the table top is 3" channel that the mill is bolted to. The pipe is welded to 1/2" plate that is bolted to the channel so it is pretty stiff. |
