Air Compressor to Grill Tank Question

I found a cheap 60 gal air compressor tank I was thinking of making into a smoker / grill. I heard that they can be greased on the inside. Anyone know for sure? What can I do to resolve it?Thanks,RG
Reply:a good fire inside the tank will do wonders and save you money from buying chemicals or any type of cleaner, its hard to beat a good fire for cleaning the inside of something like that. hope that helps.  Jeremy
