First time cast weld help

Got a manifold to repair and am going to try cast weld with a torch for the first time. I've always used either nickel or nomacast before, but this manifold is to deteriorated. Reply:Last one I did I had a temp control oven that could slowly cool the parts off in but of you had a fire blanket to wrap it in after that would work
