I get to work in the garage on Saturday........ uninterrupted...... which makes it my favorite day of the week.......I decided to take some photos and video of stuff I was doing, and post here just for the heck of it.......I welded the faces on 17 clocks that I'm working on..... took video of the tacking.......I welded some shelves on my cabinet project using some scrap angle I had laying around.....I used the last 20 lbs of Argon I had left to run a couple surface beads on Aluminum........I also uploaded one of the three video to Vimeo to see how it would look.......First video: The clock faces being tacked......and a high rez version on Vimeo (same video)..... A video of my putting a couple shelves on the cabinet........ I had about 100 lbs of Argon left.....And finally..... my last few pounds of Argon were used to practice a little Aluminum surfacing......I hope you enjoy............ I off to the zoo with Ava today....... Attached ImagesPrecision TIG 185 and MP 210Bobcat 225NTCutmaster 42O/A tanks.... 2 Argon tanks...... 2 C25 TanksFacebook...... Reply:all looks great...just one issue with the table..with those open corners you know that any tools or parts that can fit in will fall in and you will bw digging for them with a magnet on a string..LOL...Of all the things I lost I miss my mind the most...I know just enough about everything to be dangerous......You cant cure stupid..only kill it...
Reply:Nice ! Now add a new base on wheels for your HF band saw. that was the first thing i did to it. just drove me nuts being so close to the ground.
Reply:how much in materials did it cost to make that metal table? Local industrial junk place has a table twice that size for $100. Not sure if I should make one from scratch or buy the used one and cut it in half.
