I'm thinking about getting the Hypertherm Powermax 1000 (Or another machine in this class) but want to make sure that this class of machine is still usable on small thin material as well. When cutting very thin material (1/16" for instance) does this machine do a nice job like smaller Plasma cutters do? Is there a minimum cutting speed that might be too fast for thinner material? Would a different machine be more sutible for thiner material? I want to make sure the Hypertherm 1000 will perform well with everything below 1" thick -- am I asking for too much, or is this machine good at thin stuff too? Thanks!
