I made this old historic candle lantern for my mother. I had no plans to go off of, just a thought in my head, 5 minutes of scribbling on a napkin, and a homebrewed beer in hand. Wife seen these tea lite candle holders in yankee candle for $30 a pop, and wanted me to make 4 for her family for christmas. Each one cost me around $3 to make. Gangsta behind it all! Reply:I like the reindeer....what are the sizes of the material? Looks like the body and head is the same, legs are slightly smaller and antlers the smallest? Did you buy the rings for the candle or make them?Cool candle lantern too!

Reply:Love the lantern. Reindeer might make an interesting kids project. Nice work..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Reply:Dsw is spot on! I used 1/4" square stock, not 1/2". I heated up different spots and gave each section its own number of twists using a vise and two crescent wrenches. I dont have a forge, so everything was heated on a propane burner used for frying turkeys.
