Reply:Nice job!! Just wondering what you used for the legs and the vice holder?
Reply:legs and other framing pieces are 1.5 x 0.083 square tubing.   the vise tube and chop saw work slider is 1.25 x .120 which just fits inside the 1.5 tube.Miller 211
Reply:He doesnt need a cupholder when hes got a whole cocktail loungeActually, an adjustable cup holder would be a good idea if you used that slot that holds the vise. Make it adjustable so that you can move it and dont get spatter in your drink when welding.Last edited by Insaneride; 01-12-2013 at 09:35 PM.Reason: I like it
Reply:That is well thought out.  I think you will get tired of swapping stuff around during a build, but it is cool how you put so much into one small space.Did you MIG it?  What size machine do you have?Kevin / Machine_Punk from The Aerodrome Studio - Lincoln PowerMIG 210 MP - Meco N Midget w/custom welding station - Vintage Victor 100Current Projects: The Aerodrome Studio

Reply:I like it. I'm in the same situation (as far as space). I may copy your idea. The key for me is that I want the advantage of the mass of the larger table with the ability to remove the tool from the table to clear the area for larger projects. So I may adjust your design in a way that allows me to "attach" the smaller table to the larger table so the tool on the smaller table is on a more stable platform.
Reply:Good thinking.  That is a nice table.
