Hello folks I have a syncrowave 250 dx I hardly use but I would like to know if is normal to hear argon inside machine when pedal is depressed , usually I wear ear plugs just this morning I was in a hurry to tig a small piece and did not put in ear plugs that's when I heard the argon inside please help.

Reply:There is a relay that opens and allows the argon to flow when pedal is pressed. Could that be what you are hearing? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Reply:Yes, you should hear gas when you push the peddle for 15 - 20 seconds. If you continue to hear it something is wrong. Push the peddle slightly more and you will hear the buzzing of the HF but it should stop as soon as the peddle is released. |
