Reply:iron heart, there is no doubt you are a master of found object art, but- when ???(When oh WHEN) Will you move up to a TIG torch? This is not a major expense because you're dealing with tiny spot tacks more than "welding" (seams or heavy items).I'd like to suggest that like the most well known black smiths whose work became so refined it was difficult to understand how the metal was joined: your work will become much more effective when the found elements 'just stick together'!As always, your work is inventive, insightful and exciting.thanks for posting Cheers,Kevin Morin

Reply:Very nice!I'm amazed that you can do all of that stuff with stick. You are a very skilled guy!Buy American, or don't whine when you end up on the bread line.
Reply:I love seeing these, especially when someone doesn't ruin a lot of old tools in doing so.Owner of a classic car.

Reply:Don't usually weigh in on these but I'm VERY impressed. Very nice work. The thing that made me comment is that you have photos of you stick welding on the piece. Although I use TIG and MIG at work, my personal preference (and my best welding work) is stick welding. Glad to see you using it on what I think is an exquisite piece of artwork. Reply:Great job. I did not realize the size of the sculpture until I saw it with you in the photo to give it scale. You are very talented and I like the hood. What brand is it?
