Wierd Handrail

The rancher that lets me hunt on his place, wanted me to build a handrail from his porch to his yard gate. There is a rock pathway and he is really having a hard time lately walking over it since he hurt himself a while back. It needed a middle leg but he told me that it would take a machine to drill the hole as it is hard rock there. He told me to just go to a live oak stump that was slightly out of line with the rail. It's wierd but it will work for him. Attached Images

Reply:I laged it to the tree and welded it in place. I doubt it will be removed before he dies, He's 84 and not doing too good lately. He has been married 7 times and lives there with his girl friend.
