Have another thread about this machine here http://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=151921 but thought I'd ask here in this section too because that thread seems about done.Thank you vwguy3 and Txdoc! Each one emailed me a manual. I called Hobart about getting a replacement voltage knob and they said it is no longer available so I made one with a 3/8 shaft collar, tigged on a sheetmetal pointer and 5/16 bolt for a handle. Problem now is that its very hard to turn. I'm thinkin I need to open up the side of the machine and lube the contact switch, but the manual makes no mention of doing this. Is this something that even needs greased? If so , what kind of grease/lube should I put on it?Thanks in advanceSafety 3rdGump |
