Hello, I´m manuel and i´m new on this site, I'm trying to find a mini tig welder because mi line of work is on the repair and construction on micro-surgical instruments for ophthalmology an others, any advise will be well received . don't know which brand or machine i have to buy!!!!thanksmanuel
Reply:I know a guy in a similar business. He repairs and sterilizes medical equipment, but I dont know if the stuff he does is micro-level. I am pretty sure he said that he uses one of the needle plasma welders. I think he said it's a thermal arc 100 something or another. He does mostly medical and restaurant grade stainless. He has other welders for specific stuff, but I think that is what he uses for the medical appliances. You might check with thermal arc for their customer uses just to be sure.Smithboy...if it ain't broke, you ain't tryin'. |
