Dear all,i really need a help. i want to use HIGH FREQUENCY TIG WELDING using MOSA TS 500 Welding generator. is it possible ? if any1 can help me in this regardsUmair
Reply:If it's this machine, it looks like the welder output is DC only:http://www.mosa.it/index.php?id=780&...ash=3f788fcb3cYou could put a high frequency box on it for arc starting with DC TIG, but if you wanted to do aluminum (with continuous high frequency), you'd need a welder with AC output.http://www.millerwelds.com/products/...ies/frequency/
Reply:Any of the "add on" TIG / High Frequenct boxes will work. Simply hook your leads to the box.Lincoln SA200's... at least 15 - 20. They come and go. Growing partial to the "Short Hoods" in my old age. Last count on Short Hoods was 13 in possession.
Reply:i have one TIG High Frequency unit Pro TIG 410 for KEMPPI Pro evolution 4200. can i work with MOSA TS 500 PS. i cant not find how to connect this Pro TIG 410 with MOSA because there is not control cable to be connected with MOSA for 50VDC for TIG Unit
Reply:You basically want to run the output of your MOSA welder "through" the KEMPPI 410 box so that it superimposes the high frequency over the welder's output. Any settings for the high frequency would have to be made on the control panel of the KEMPPI. Here's the manual for the 410 if you don't already have it:http://www.archwelding.cz/dokumenty/...0_navod_en.pdfI've only used used a Miller high frequency box before. Check out how simple its connections are (page 17):http://www.millerwelds.com/om/o611u_mil.pdf
Reply:@ Dbotos did u used Miller HF box with MOSA TS ?i have tried KIMPPI PRO 410 but this (Pro410)unit is controlled by Pro 3200/4200 & 5200 Power source of Kemppi. any1 experienced Any HF unit with MOSA TS 500 PS???
Reply:Nope. I've only used mine with a simple inverter machine that just had DC output. |
