I am taking the advise from an earlier post and going to set up a miter saw with an aluminum cutting blade to cut angle and box tubing.  Anyone have a suggestion on the best miter saw to use or a good specific blade. Thanks,
Reply:We use a Rigid at work.  Buy the largest diameter you can afford and look closely at the amp rating of the motor.  I have never seen a motor fail.  What goes on ours is the table unit itself.  Purchase spare inserts if yours has plastic inserts in the area of the saw cut.  I like the freud brand for saw blades.  A wide carbide tooth uses more saw power.  Be sure to purchase and use the saw wax.  Carbide blades tend to dull then load up with aluminum in the gullets.  You can feel the cut being uneven when a gullet loads up.  Stop the saw and remove the aluminum with a needle nose pliers.  Better yet change blades and send the dull one out for sharpening.
