I have a Telwin Modular 12TE tong-type spot welder. I haven't been able to find a wiring diagram for it.It has a 5-pin plug. One of the wires is ground. Two go to the 240 volt winding . The other 2 go to a micro switch in the handle. I assume the micro switch should be connected to a relay in the power supply, and that they used a relay to avoid having to make the tool big enough to accommodate a switch that could handle the welding primary current. It looks like, to use the welder, I'll need a 240V dpst relay. Is there anything else that would be in the power supply? Maybe a timer? |
