Stitch welder Q ?

Does anyone here have experience with one of these or a similar gizmo?http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/P...002101/c-10101I saw it mentioned on another site and it seems to be a useful tool for light gauge stuff. Reply:Very interesting product, I've heard of them before but would like to hear some feedback as well.
Reply:The stitch welder works good for real thin metal. I mostly use it for auto body but I guess it can be used for any light weight metal. The on / off time is adjustable ( the faster the stitch the more heat you create and the more chance you take of blowing through.) I bought mine at HP.
Reply:Sheet metal work is what Im wanting it for. Im bobbing the bed on my Ranger trail truck and was hoping to find a cheaper alternative than converting my MM210 to solid wire. Reply:In most cases I use a 1/8" 6013. But there again it depends on the material.
Reply:Aye its a cracker Cracker, must admit never seen one before have to keep a eye out for similar over here,,must be better than trying to fill the burn through holes, LOLsome might say its imposible
