I need a heavy duty air cooled torch. I am on the edge of 17 style or 26 style. The weldcraft CS-200 does not come with a gas valve according to my suppliers, and I got to have that. Does anyone have any feedback on the CK Worldwide products:CKC-150 or TL-26The CKC seems pretty nice, 100% duty cycle at 150amps, which is a heck of a lot better than weldcrafts WP-17 60% The TL(Trim line) is a 26 size torch but slimed down. 200 amp @100%Also looking at Weld-Tech, they got a big selection.WP-17 is melting down occasionally. My former employer supplied me with torches, but now I gotta buy my own.Constant Current Weldor.
Reply:Everything I've heard about the CK torches has been good. Personally I would opt for a CK over the weldcraft every time because of their higher duty cycle. Not as familiar with the Weld-tech torches, though I believe that may be what the tech school uses if they aren't CK torches..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size.
