This seems to be a very useful tool and I believe will be even more useful in the future. We wanted a trailer mover, but for a $150+ tax and shipping I couldnt see buying one. So I built one.I came up with some dimensions I thought would be suitable for the project and got started. All thou I have had compliments on it, I believe because of the paint, I still built it keeping in mind function over looks. I did add extra bracing, D rings, hooks, and a top receiver tube. That makes it more useful and did make the cost go up, but you still will not find anything close to it with the possible functions that this piece of equipment will have. Reply:Nice job. I am in the process of building one for my tractor. Figured a nice project seeing too cold to work outside. Really like the idea of the D-ring on the upright, will have to copy that
Reply:Looks like it oughta work just fine.I looked at your website, and I'd be a little careful about letting the "free range" cows up in the yard. Aside from a fly problem due to the manure, you should worry about parasites.Droppings contain parasites, some of which can get into your body thru your feet or any exposed skin. Keep the kids in shoes and away from it. The effects will stay in the soil too, long after the cow pies have melted away. And the first time one of those free-like-a-bird cows crushes one of the mirrors on your cars or pickup truck.......................McDonalds Happy Meal timeWe had our cows up in the yard after the wildfire that went thru here in August. I had to open the gates to let them fend for themselves when the pasture burnt. At least they had a chance, and luck was with them, we didn't lose any. BUT THE STUPID THINGS FOUND THEIR WAY INTO THE YARD AND TRASHED IT CRAP EVERYWHERE, OVERTURNED STUFF, DENTS IN THE SIDING......................"Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
