Making some plyo boxes for my son from 1" square tube. Legs are at an angle and ends are capped. Trying to find a rubber foot that will work with angled legs. Needs to be fairly non slip since he will be jumping on and off of it on smooth concrete. Anyone know where to get them?ThanksSafety 3rdGump
Reply:Go to an electrical supply house and get transformer pads. You will have to cut them down some but they will do the job.
Reply:Anything that is stick on may shift of the foot over time resulting in a surprise. Rubber and thread on or really good epoxy may be needed. What about bolt on feet from milled hockey pucks. (I know, typical Canadian solution)Lot's o' layers of Tool Dip???Or roughen up the bottom of the feet(no gas MIG dimples) and put the unit on a rubber/foam rubber mat.....Last edited by bert the welder; 03-03-2013 at 02:17 PM.200amp Air Liquide MIG, Hypertherm Plasma, Harris torches, Optrel helmet, Makita angle grinders, Pre-China Delta chop saw and belt sander, Miller leathers, shop made jigs etc, North- welders backpack. |
