I bought a Plasma torch guide from mechanic416 on eBay. He gives a basic drawing on making a circle cutting attachment. I made mine out of 1/4" and 1/2" aluminum round stock. The nut on the guide is 6x1.0 thread, so I threaded one end of the 6"x1/4" rod to screw into the guide. The magnet was part of a universal circle cutter. I also cut a 12" rod for larger circles. The 1/2" rod is threaded end to end 1/4x20. I cut the head off a bolt so the rod will fit into the magnet base, and there is a set screw in the top to lock the 1/4" rod at the desired length.Last edited by cope; 03-03-2013 at 02:32 PM.
