Reply:Based on his eyes, I would state you are wrong! He looks bored out of his skull with reading that book. What he is doing is guarding it from you to prevent you from reading him more bedtime stories out of it!HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!Always better to Rescue/Adopt than buy.
Reply:That's looks like a good friend you have there.  Listens to everything you say and never talks back.  "The reason we are here is that we are not all there"SA 200Idealarc TM 300 300MM 200MM 25130a SpoolgunPrecision Tig 375Invertec V350 ProSC-32 CS 12 Wire FeederOxweld/Purox O/AArcAirHypertherm Powermax 85LN25

Reply:Congrat's!!! I've got two rescued Pitty's myself. Great dogs!!! Wish idiot's would stop owning them and the media would phuk-off with over dramatic reporting. They really are loving family dogs. Rescues always appreciate a good home. Reply:About 40-years ago I had a pit bull. He would lay on the garage floor until I started welding or cutting, then jump up and chase the sparks. Sparks from welding weren't so bad, but the sparks from cutting would get his attention when he caught them. I'd run him out of the garage, but he would sneak back in an lay in the corner and chew on extension cords. The cords that were plugged in, he would just yelp, and go right back to chewing. Then I'd have to put him in the house! Pain didn't really seem to bother him!Don’t pay any attention to meI’m just a hobbyist!CarlDynasty 300V350-Pro w/pulseSG Spool gun1937 IdealArc-300PowerArc 200ST3 SA-200sVantage 400

Reply:Mine loved to play with a water hose too. Also hated the vacuum cleaner with a passion. Sometimes he would even pull the vacuum right out of the wife's hand! Reply:That pit bull I had was funny as he!!. Any big dog in sight the fight was on. Any little dog he ran behind me. I use to let him out of the truck on a long dirt road to get some exercise. I had to set still for a little bit because he liked to chew on the truck tires. One Sunday morning I thought I seen him head into the woods, I started to let the truck roll. Heard him let out a yelp. I got out and ran around to the passenger side of the truck. The tire was on top of his head! I thought I killed my dog. Backed the truck off his head, and he took off running! Just screaming in pain. Once I caught him, ran him to the vets. Just popped his chin, couple wires up under his lower jaw across the other side back out under his jaw twisted up tight is all he needed for a couple weeks, good as new.Don’t pay any attention to meI’m just a hobbyist!CarlDynasty 300V350-Pro w/pulseSG Spool gun1937 IdealArc-300PowerArc 200ST3 SA-200sVantage 400
Reply:LOL they are amazing animals I really enjoy the heck out of them, the last one I posted would not tolerate any other dog male or female if they were his size or bigger, but he always waited patiently till they were in striking distance with not a tell tail sign anything was about to happen. I knew it and would always catch it in time and laugh my azz off when I would send people away cursing at me while walking there 120lb rottweilers away in disbelief at what almost just happened. Hey, I would always warn them when they got to close, but human nature big has to be bad  Funny tho my friend had a little yorkie that would antagonize him and lift his leg on him if he tried to sniff him and he loved it, and he would play it up like, ahhh your crazy, help I cant run fast enough, almost like a adult wrestling with a little kid! Funny stuff!I hate being bi-polar it's awsomeMy Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys
Reply:Nice to hear all the good Pitty stories. They really are great dogs when they are with responsible owners. Bad owners can make any breed dangerous. And yeah, their pain threshold is amazing. George tore one of his claws out, socket and all, and didn't make a peep. They are very smart but their actions can really typify " Cute like bunny, dumb like stick"  Attached Images200amp Air Liquide MIG, Hypertherm Plasma, Harris torches, Optrel helmet, Makita angle grinders, Pre-China Delta chop saw and belt sander, Miller leathers, shop made jigs etc, North- welders backpack.
Reply:i had to weld cattle pannel around one of my kennels because we rotate dogs through the house and in the kennel or they will get into it ....anyway one of my females literally chews the chain link off the frame you put her out in the kennel and with in 10 minutes shes on the porch i thought man she sure digs fast then i got out there and it looked like a shark attacked the door went to find her to scold her there she was on the porch drooling blood ......well no more showing for you girl not with those broken teeth then she went in side and happily ate a bowl of kibble like nothing happened i love this breed i could go on about them for days1979 sa 200victor 100several bfh's several pitbulls (for holding down the floor)
Reply:my boy is really good, he does nto mind the shop and i dont let him hang out there when i am cuttign or welding, take him to the office. I do like having him at night, as u can not sneak up on him. my shop is in industrial area, so it is kidn of rough at nightWe have a Pitt/Chesapeake retriever mix, 78 lbs of solid muscle. She is a loving protective dog, scared of her own shadow. Barks threateningly, but wouldn't hurt anybody. She will run up to a stranger, barking, teeth barred, very threatening, get within 5 ft, then turn and run away. That is unless she thinks they are threatening the wife or I, then I have seen hints it would get real ugly real fast. She even attacks me if I get too 'frisky' with the wife. Although at those times my wife thinks she is being more jealous than protective. Her threshold for pain is amazing. When she was 18 months old, during a snow storm she decided to follow my wife out our 1/4 mile long dirt driveway as my wife was going to work. As best we can guess from the marks on her side, she got hit by a snow plow on the main street. We spent 5 hrs searching for her, I followed her tracks out to the main street, but none returning. We finally found her under our front porch with a very swollen left rear leg. Took her to our vet, they were out of town, back in the car to the next vet where they x-ray'ed her leg, femur was broken and the bones were offset by about 1". So she had managed to drag herself 1/4 mile back to the house with a broken leg!! That vet said they were not equipped to handle any complications and we had to drive her 1.5 hrs to the nearest animal hospital. $3800, an 8" plate and 10 screws later she is back on her feet. She never once cry-ed, moaned or snapped at anybody thru the whole ordeal. She had to have been in great pain but she never showed any sign of it. She just looked at us with pleading eyes as if to say, 'fix me, make me better'. She is a wonderful obedient dog, a terrific friend and I am glad I spent the money to save her.JimMaxtor 150STH
Reply:great story. i was sort of dreading the ending as i was ready it.
Reply:From his expression on his face he looks like he is just waiting for the right time to bite you in the a.ss.
Reply:my two girls. Both rescues, both basically plucked from the streets before they even made it to animal control. The brown one was abandoned in an apartment for a month in a closest. Really sweet and loving to humans. Shes kinda mixed with other dogs until she knows them. Not aggressive and never ever bit a living thing, but a rough player. She thinks dogs are just other toys. The black pit mix was a foster. We took her from owners that were going to take her to animal control because the mans new wife did not like her. No idea why. She is a very sweet, well mannered dog. Got along great with other dogs and we took her everywhere for the 2 months we fostered her. She is now with a new loving family.
Reply:I love dogs. Had Pits in the early 90s. Roscoe was my boy and could never be replaced. Now I have 6 Jacks. Ruby is my connection. She's all around me and I can't even go to the toilet on my own anymore. She must be the most intelligent dog I've ever owned. She's in the shop with me all day. Don't let that innocent looking face fool you. If she gets going she's a machine. Being the youngest and smallest hasn't put her off. She's the leader of my pack. Attached Images
