Reply:Here is what I did with the horse shoe coat hangers I made. I took the most ugliest piece of wood i could find in the yard that was still straight cut some junk off using the table saw, and then run it through the gfs dads planer. The knives are chipped and dulled in a way that gives the wood a rustic finish. I then painted the shoes white and stained the board a deep dark red of some kind.  Sorry bout the pics, the screen is smashed out of my camera so now I just point and hope to get close to what im shootin at.
