So after seeing my offer to share what I know in one thread, Mike asked me if I would help him learn tig...  he came by this am for about 3 hrs....  talked some theory and technique.  Started qith 3/16 aluminum beads with my coaching him. Then onto some beads with filler on 20ga aluminum. Reply:Southpaw was an excellent instructor...  He could have posted many other pictures that weren't very good at all and I am sure I tested his patience at times.  Tig is a lot like the first time I played drums, or the first time I operated a bobcat.  Seems like all your hands and feet are doing different things at the same time.  And if I think about one action I completely lose focus on something else that is equally as important.But like I said, excellent teacher and just an all around dang good guy.Cannot say enough good things about this morning.Thank You.
