Reply:Now that is very cool. Kinda pisses me off cuz he's welding better than me, just kidding (about the pisses me off comment). Wait till the "What You did for Summer" project when he gets back in school...I learned how to weld.

Reply:He's lucky to have an old man that's providing him with a real world skill. Good job kid!
Reply:good job bro.......proud of ya
Reply:Way to be a good role model and showing him what your doing instead of running him off because he's in the way, lol. That kid will probably remember that for the rest of his life.Steve
Reply:Good job, he will be welding along side you before u know it. Keep up the good work.
Reply:now THAT is awesome... keep that little guy busy... i really wish i had someone to teach me how to weld like that. that is simply amazing... honestly, those welds are nicer than some of the guys 5 or 6 times his age at work.Later,AndyP.S. sorry to go snooping, but i thought this was freaking hilarious!!!http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f1...5/58cb18bb.gif
Reply:Outstanding!Nice to see that he's eager to learn. With him welding as well as he is right now, imagine how good he can be by the time he's in High School. I too wish I had somebody to teach me at an early age. - Paulhttp://all-a-cart.comWelding Cart Kits and accessories

Reply:I cant take all the credit. His father/my brother(busyman) has taught me what I know. But I must say, he picked it up faster than I did, and without all the foul language and frustration.

Reply:I love to see post like this.I tried to get my grand son interested in the shop with me and couldn't get him away from the video games. When my son was just a baby he spent all his time with me out in my shop learning how to work on cars and welding and such. Now he has his own business and is making some months $79,000 per month. Yep you heard it right and most of that is profit. Now he wants me to help him build his own shop. With that kind of money i would hire someone to do it for me but as we all know there is a lot of satisfaction that comes from doing the work yourself. I am semi-retired now and sometimes before i go to bed i go outside in the moonlight and just admire my shop with a cup of coffee. One of my projects now is restoring an old Lincoln with a B&S engine on it.. You guys know one of them tinker with it projects.
Reply:Good times...That's fantastic! That little guy is better than I am. Props to you for taking him under your wing! Reply:Nice!! I needed some one like you when I was young. I wanted to learn about alot of things my Dad couldn't teach me. I am  very thankful for all the skills my Dad did teach me, I probably did more tune-ups oil changes and brake jobs than any kid in junior high and high school!  That was back in the day when you could do a tune-up on a car or truck..lol..
Reply:Looks like he's caught the welding bug. Congrats to you for taking the time.If you don't want to stand behind our Troops, feel free to stand in front of them.
