L-tec Plasma Cutter Help

Hey! I just picked Up an L-tec Cutmate 20 It seems to power up ok But It needs the torch repaired I'm missing the torch Head and Consumables It looks like an Esab pt31 would fit but None of the local shops have a pt31 torch in stock Does anyone Have any info or spare parts for this Cutter ?Or Does someone need a power supply for their Torch ?Thanks!

Reply:Hey dank11,L-Tec is superb equipment as I have used several models of MIG, TIG & one of their Plasma Welders. They were bought out several years ago by Linde, and then ESAB took over the entire L-Tec & Linde line. Your best bet would go to ESAB's website or Google "L-TEC Equipment". you may find some suppliers listed that still have OEM parts. Good luck....DennyComplete Welding/Machine/Fab. Reply:I have an L-tec 30 amp transformer plasma cutter.  It must weigh 200 or so pounds.  I can buy consumables at the local welding supply.  They do still make the PT-31 and PT-31XL torch.  I can get you part #s if you want.  I copied the page out of the catalog.  It claims ratings for 3/8, but I can do a better cut on 3/8 with a torch.DavidReal world weldin.  When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
