Reply:I used acid and a battery charger ~15 amps. Wrap a copper plate with cotton, dip this in acid, connect the battery charger like a welding machine, and rub on the welds. Not sure polarity, but it works really quick, makes the acid go much faster, but etches the metal a slight bit more.Constant Current Weldor.
