Reply:I'm so getting a pair of these if the seal around the eyes are great.  I've been doing some lathe work lately, and have been wearing safety glasses.  Somehow, bending over with a cigarette in my mouth tends to get smoke in my eyes.  I usually tear up toward the end of a cut where stopping at the right time is kinda critical.  I just might order up one of these puppies and be the first one in my shop to make the fashion statement... well, i'm the ONLY ONE in my shop anyway
Reply:I'm sort of mixed on them after using them.I didn't notice how the vents were made until I actually was in the sunlight the next day.This is a pic looking from inside the gogglesAnd looking from the outside of the gogglesNotice how the vents face forward, in addition to the side vents.  I'm not too sure about this.  A standard old school pair of goggles has vents, but they're capped so that stuff doesn't easily get in.  These vents aren't capped.The vents are well away from the front of your eyes, but we all know that chips can enter and bounce against the face/safety glass, and wind up in your eyes.So...........all in all........II think these are pretty good, BUT NO SUBSTITUTE FOR OLD SCHOOL GOGGLES.  That being said, they're light years ahead of the skimpy so-called safety glasses being sold today."Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
