Reply:they make a 'y' that you can hook two hoses to.
Reply:They also make a Y that you can hook onto the valve and hook to flowmeters to.http://www.arc-zone.com/index.php?ma...oducts_id=8774.No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Reply:I posted a pic of my set up a while back. I'm not sure I've got the pic on this computer, but I believe it was a Smith rego with two flow meters. The fitting for the bottle came straight out the back and the flow meters were on the sides. I think it was about $250. Works good.My name's not Jim....
Reply:I have 2 of these that I share bottles between 2 tigs. I chose them for the low output pressure of 25psi to limit surge waste. http://victortechnologies.com/IM_Upl...25_65-2007.pdfCyberweld has a pretty good price of $285.http://store.cyberweld.com/viredfm15...FSmCQgodmEIARAWeld like a "WELDOR", not a wel-"DERR" MillerDynasty700DX,Dynasty350DX4ea,Dynasty200DX,Li ncolnSW200-2ea.,MillerMatic350P,MillerMatic200w/spoolgun,MKCobraMig260,Lincoln SP-170T,PlasmaCam/Hypertherm1250,HFProTig2ea,MigMax1ea.
Reply:I definitely recommend shovelon's recommendation. I use that regulator/dual flowmeter for welding stainless piping and it works great. The problem with the y-valves that I've seen is that its hard to be precise in getting your gas flow where you want it on each side of the y. not enough purge, not enough torch gas, its frustrating at times. I love the dual flowmeter regulators. They are THE way to go!!! Reply:This is what I was thinking of using? The hose is off my airbrush why the small gauge is there. What do you guys think? I was going to hook the flow meter to the argon tank and then from there to the diaphram reg.. then use the reg to control the small amounts for purging?? Reply:I just put a simple Y after the regulator with a valve at the end of the backpurge line. |
