Keggle and burner stand

I made this setup for my buddy. Its a keg converted to brewing tank and banjo burner stand. First pic shows a coupler that I put on the lathe to cut a shoulder. Each fitting is tigged with my diversion at 65 amps thoriated tungsten 1/16 and dcen with argon at 15. The shoulder protrudes inside for an autologous seal weld later. This seals the seam inside for sanitary reasons. Dedicated argon backpurge was used. The stand /burner table in 1.5 in sq steel .065 tube, 1.5 in angle migged with mm211. Burner cowel is 16 ga steel bent with my break press. Cuts made with pm30 plasma. My "e" swoosh on the cowl. Reply:This banjo burner puts out over 200 k btu. And the cowl blocks the wind. The feet of the burner table are flat plates / skids. The grate we made to support the tank is 1/2 in by 1 in. Crs in the shape of a # sign. The tank sports a thermometer and a ss valve and a fluid level sight glass. We boiled 12 gallons from cold tap temp in about 45 min. My bro in law uses this setup to make beer. I weld and fabricate. He does the brewing. We both drink the beer. Reply:thanks! I built a little "house of argon" and stuck it to the inside of the kettle around the hole / coupler i was working on. I used foil heat resistant tape. Then i ran a hose of argon from a seperate bottle / regulator and set it on 5-10 ish.
