Tips for Opening Fab shop in Michigan

In Michigan are their any certain licenses needed to open a fab shop? I eventually want to open one after i have more experience with fabricating. But is their anything needed to open one? are their any fabricating certificates you need? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Reply:You definitely need to do some sort of incorporation or llc, with insurance. not only so you are legit but in the event anything were to happen, the business is liable not you personally (that's just a worst case scenario, but it will protect you).I would find a fab place near you and talk to the guys there, not only would they know exactly what you will need to do, but who wouldn't want to go hang out at a fab shop! Last thing: "shoot for the stars and never look back" your on your way to the American dream my friend!Real welders know how to penetrate!(Equipment)Whatever can be used to beat my opponent into submission!

Reply:Ok do what the big business people do borrow $2 millon , buy all your tools and machines , welding truck etc. pay your self $150,000 a year and when the money is gone declare bankruptcy and start over .But pay your taxes . Maybe if you are good enough ,you will get a good business going and not go broke.
