HiAfter reading various threads and asking questions at this forum, I decided to look for an older Miller stick welder on Craigslist. Someone at this forum recommended a website where you specify an item and the distance you would be willing to travel to get it, it searches all the Craigslist sites within that distance. I lost the name of that site. Can anyone help me?

Reply:I'm a big Miller fan, but I wouldn't rule out a nice round top Lincoln Idealarc if I was looking for an older stick machine. It would probably be a tough choice for me between a Dialarc or an Idealarc. I'd take either one over a Thunderbolt, even though the Thunderbolts are nice machines ( and I have one)I usually use the search term "welder" and then sort the list on searchtempest manually to see what I can find. That often pulls up items people mislabel or just list as "ark" welder ..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear.
