Todays side job while BSing on here

This is todays job, a top motor mount for a harley davidson. Made from a piece of 3/8x4 cold rolled flat I had laying around. Amazing I got anything done today while BSing on here  I still got more to go with blend work, holes and more bending, but I have to go back and take some measurements on the actual bike to make sure myself. I will not take anybodys word over the phone anymore  It's not far from being done simple, but once it fits perfect i'll try to add a homemade feel to it. Reply:Looks good but I'll make one simple suggestion, bowtie your welds. Don't stop at one end instead start on each end and weld to the middle so you don't have a crater at the end.Much stronger that way.

Reply:Quiet Easter for me so I finished it up today. I'll take back my last statement with the tampon wings because I hate them and think they look like crap! But before I went any further beveling and welding I had the guy look at it and he LOVED it. Reply:I knew what that was from the first pic. I'm a bike builder too but my thing is rigid Sporty based chops. I export some of my stuff to the States but not much. Nice work on the mount Mike.
