push pull aluminum whole set up?

I tig most of my aluminum so far, but have some bigger projects on the horizon and have to look into a push pull system.I have a spoolgun and a TA 400MST power source.can i get by with adding an optima pulse unit ($1K ish) and then just adding a push pull feeder later?or should i be looking at one of those fancy new power supplies that do the pulse on pulse?I know which is cheaper!!thanksG

Reply:I am a big believer in a turnkey system. I have an MK CobraMig260, and a MillerMatic350P solely dedicated for alum. Pulse on pulse is helpful for sheet alum, but all but useless for plate thicknesses since alum only transfers in spray.The big draw is hotstart and run-in adjustment. The best thing since sliced bread is the new Millermatic350P-Aluminum only. They took out the heavy 4 gear drivebox and replaced it with a 2 gear drive, and omitted parameters that deal with steels, and included easy to set alum setups. It is point and shoot so to speak.
