What's the proper way to run flux core? Can you whip it or do you run it like a 7018? Is it proan to slag inclusions?

Reply:I don't have much experience with self shielded flux core or the dual shield but with regular mig, the instructors tell us always drag on steel unless you don't want deep penetration. It seems like since your already on dcen with self sheilded wire that a drag would be better for more penetration because the polarity is alread limiting it some. But that's just a guess....
