I can now store my TIG, MIG and Plasma all under my welding table. Simply have maxed garage space and will probably part with old reliable (MM200) with its Spoolmatic. Gotta thank Steve 7A749 for all the advice and help. Reply:Nice. Do you know the difference between an S-22P12 and a Super S-32P? I thought someone told me once, but now I forget. I know that the Super S-32P is voltage sensing. But what is the actual difference, explained?"Where's Stick man????????" - 7A749"SHHHHHH!! I sent him over to snag that MIC-4 while tbone wasn't looking!" - duaneb55"I have bought a few of Tbone's things unlike Stick-Man who helps himself" - TozziWelding"Stick-man"
Reply:Dean, the S22-P12 is an "RC" type feeder similar to the newer RC 12's Miller has currently. The Super S32P is a VS feeder that doesn't have a 14 pin remote connection, so it's similar to the VS 12's Miller currently has.The big difference is that the S22P12 is a "standard" feeder that needs the control cable and is a constant wire speed feeder for use on CV only power sources, while the Super S32P is a voltage sensing feeder and can vary the wire speed if need be for use with CC or CV and can be used on machines with no remote capabilities..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Reply:"Decided to go Portable " From the title, I expected you'd be dumping 3 or 4 big-old welders for 1 new light weight lunch box.Drf255 you still got blue boxes and white-towel covered boxes under tables! I'd say you went 'transportable' not 'portable'.Rick V 1 Airco Heliwelder 3A/DDR3 CTC 70/90 amp Stick/Tig Inverters in Parallel1 Lincoln MIG PAK 151 Oxy-Acet

Reply:I like my machines nice and big, heavy, and hard to find an outlet for. I find less people ask me to bring my equipment to their place to work on their junk. This way they have to do the work to get their junk to my shop to get fixed and I get to work where I like to work.
