Just a quick question if any of you have had any luck building your own crane/hoist that can mount on top of a utility bed. Any pictures or links would be great.

Reply:Harbor Freight regularly has their 1-ton and 2-ton shop cranes on sale for ~$180 and $150. It should be a simple matter for you to re-purpose one for your truck.
