I have a new to me torch set I need some info on. It is a Purox setup. It has 442C on the torch head and 442T on the barrel. The gauges are R-72-15-510 for acetylene and R72-125-540 for the Oxygen. Who sells or sold this set and where can I get parts / tips for it and a rosebud?
Reply:IIRC, ESAB took over all of the Purox/Prestolite stuff. I used to have a chart for tips, etc., but I must have deleted it. These people sell tips, so maybe they can help you.http://www.gossonline.com/site/Purox_ESAB_Tips.php
Reply:Pics of the torch would help. The regs are still sold and MAY have a lifetime warranty so don't take them apart. Contact ESAB customer service.The ESAB North America site has many manuals.There are lots of parts on Ebay. I get mine there. Purox/Oxweld are great torches.
