Reply:Very slick. You could market those. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2Hobart Stick mate LX AC/DCHarris O/A outfit
Reply:Thanks not sure if I could sell them. It's just some scrap plate and 2 inch pipe and a few fittings
Reply:Nice! Lets see the rest of the rig."Where's Stick man????????" - 7A749"SHHHHHH!! I sent him over to snag that MIC-4 while tbone wasn't looking!" - duaneb55"I have bought a few of Tbone's things unlike Stick-Man who helps himself" - TozziWelding"Stick-man"
Reply:Here it is before. With reals. I didn't like em they made my leads hot and messed with the arc. I didn't always have time to unspool them all the way. And I like wraps better. Nothing to break on them
Reply:nice..
Reply:Some of today's project. Stringing out some 14 inch line. Oddball size. Sorry no shots of my rig. A front headlight that's it. And a far off shot off my truck. It's in the back.

Reply:Those pictures are in the old El Paso natural gas yard. I haven't been up to Colorado in a while. Carlsbad NM is booming. I may go to Savannah GA. Going to be a big job there for a while. I went and hired on as a company welder for Kinder Morgan not sure how long I will stay. Money is good but it's hard to look at my personal rig sittin every day. Plus is I am home almost every night . I do believe that having a steel core that is a smaller diameter in reals makes a big electro magnet. With my leads off those reals my gauss meter would go crazy.
Reply:14"??? I used to hate it when I had to work on non standard stuff. The engineers don't realize how much of a pain it is down the road when you need to get fittings, or do a hot tap and there are no fittings available, and really, is the cost that much less than going with 16"?
Reply:Those look cool, you should design some arms and fingers to replace the chain links.
Reply:yeah 14 inch is stupid. Nothing else fits have to order everything. Takes a long time to find fittings. Clamps had to be made out of 16. oh well we did some 5 inch what a pain in the A** to find and get stuff for that. And i like the Idea of hands holding the leads. May have to spend a little time looking into that. Well atleast tomorrow it will be a normal 20 inch size. ha ha . |
