Anybody know of a good welding glove? One that doesn't fall apart at the seams after 2 months? I'm using a pair of blue hawks and the last few pairs were Hobart. I used to have a couple pairs of Lincolns that didn't stand up to much heat. And I've tried Black Stallion gloves but I can't remember if they were any good or not. Any other suggestions? I've been doing a combination of stick and regular mig. I have a heat shield for spray transfer so that's no problem. Any help would be great.
Reply:Black stallion, for the price they're the way to go
Reply:All my gloves are Tillman. They fit fine and last long enough. 2 months is a long time to expect stick welding gloves to last.Airco Ac/Dc 300 HeliwelderMillerMatic 200 (stolen)Miller Maxstar 150STLMiller AEAD200LE (welding and generating power) Hobart MIG
Reply:Thanks guys. I had a feeling that was the case but I was hoping I was wrong.
Reply:I use Tillman gloves too. 580 M I think they are. Have had them for going on two years now.
Reply:Def. Tillman!
Reply:If gloves last two months, they are some darn good gloves! That or you didn't use them....Just a couple welders, big hammers, grinders, and torches.Work will free you.Men in dirty jeans built this country, while men in clean suits have destroyed it. Trump/Carson 2016-2024
Reply:Love my Tillmans. I love using the Tig gloves when I am doing sheet metal work on the old cars. I can actually "feel" what I'm working on. Not great for heavy mig welding, I prefer the Mig gloves for my "production" work, I use my Tillman Migs for all kinds of work, not just welding...
Reply:http://www.caimangloves.com/gloves/r...welding-glovesI have been using the 1868 for TIG. I'm pretty happy with them. I have not tried the others they offer. Check ebay. There is some good deals out there.~Scott~You can see what projects I'm working on on my Facebook page.https://www.facebook.com/pages/Bucke...3595655?ref=hlbucket_of_bolts on Instagram HTP 221 DV

Reply:Is there anyone that sell gloves individually instead of by the pair? I've got quite the pile of new right hand mig gloves. -via Mobile |
