GTAW advice??

I just started TIG a couple days ago and still cant figure it out, any advice??

Reply:What's there to get? Just kidding of course. As others have said, more information and pics are needed. Are you to a point where you can get a puddle established on a flat plate and move it around a bit?

Reply:And please don't ask a weeks worth of questions and then show your first attempts on a old corroded filthy rusty hunk of a leaf spring that was cut with a torch right where you welded it  First bit of avise would be fresh clean metal with no mill scale on it wiped down clean with acitone for premium results. Reply:Go take a course from a qualified instructor who can teach you the hands on basics including set-ups then put in hours of hood time, there are no short cuts. Reply:I have a good handle on it now thanks for the input. The group of welding instructors at lincoln tech in grand prairie texas  are an elite group of welders, best decision in my life thus far was to come here.
