Hobart Cyber-Tig For Sale

I have a Cyber-Tig for sale. Set up for 240 Volts 1 Phase, but can be set up for 460 Volts 1 Phase. 3 - 300 amps. I got it a couple of years ago to do some aluminum welding, but that has not really happened. I need the garage space for my projects and the money would help too. It's ready to weld, minus regulator and tank. I was using a #17V torch, but will include a #20 for water cooling capabiliteis. I am looking to get 600.00 OBO(let's talk, I'm negotiable). E-mail me for pics. I do have the owner's manual and the service manual, just have to look for them. This machine welds very nice.
Reply:Just a comment on this welder.  As I recall, the Hobart Cyber-Tig was a 1970-something, "state of the Art" precision TIG welder with sequence control of purge times, upslope, downslope, and pulsing.  A fairly large and heavy transformer power supply, similar to the Miller Syncrowave of that ltime, but still a really great power supply for TIG and stick welding today.  My junior college instructor showed the class pulsed stick welding with one of these.  Kind of odd, but very cool.

Reply:vgopal10, you don't want to ship this thing to India, it's a monster, very big and heavy!  It's a great machine, but for the cost of shipping you could get the same features with more precise controls in a modern inverter that is smaller than a sewing machine.
