If any one has any SA 200 Short hood F162 parts and wanting or willing to sell  let me know. Or maybe know where I might be able to purchase parts. i'm trying to get mine going again. Thank You TomPit9

Reply:Make sure that starter will not fit the short hood. We have used the Delco 1107382 - the shaved side starter - for years on the s models. In many cases, it is necessary to put a slight bend in the lifting bale, assuming yours has this piece of formed gauge metal as opposed to the 5/16" thick solid steel that was used in the early 40's. You can easily do this with a pair of vice grips. Some units also required a 3/16" spacer under starter, but this starter has the guts to crank engine on coldest day.     James supply is in Pauls Valley, Ok and Stumpf is in Mascoutah, Il, just outside St. Louis.

Reply:not sure of the part number but yes they are delco starters shaved on 3 sides not sure if they are standard equipment but think they were added on after buying a new unitShad
