Hello there, i am curious to see if anyone out there is running a Miller XR-Pistol Pro with a Lincoln 350 MP?i have been checking online but cant seem to find anything on this topic..just wondering if i need to buy & install a new pin connector to be able to plug it into the Lincoln
Reply:I seem to remember others making comments in the past that Miller and Lincoln use different voltages for running feeders and so on. This may be why you don't read more about this being done. Hopefully one of the guys who work on machines can shed some more light on the subject for you, but I doubt it's as simple as changing connectors or the pin out locations. Note many of the guys who work on equipment don't always log on every day, so it may be a few days before they get on and start going thru threads..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Reply:thanks DSW, yeah i called my "guy" from the welding supplier/repair shop i deal with and he said they make custom amphibole adapter whips to hook up a Miller PP gun to the 350MP plus a brass receiver bushing adapter where the whip enters the machine.appreciate the feedback! JT
