A couple of crossbars on the baler need welding, and I've needed something like this before.  So a quickie throw togetherPiece of angle is welded to a piece of tubing to provide a flat surface for a C clamp, and to further stiffen the assembly.Then it's flame straightened to compensate for the distortion caused by the welding.  Just 6 small welds is enough to pull it out of true.Two top clamp thingies are made in the same fashion, but with smaller angle so that I can handle pipe/stock diameters as small as 1/2".And there you have itThe Uranis model 111 pipe jigIt will handle up to 6" pipe, which is probably as big as I'll ever need.  I'm pretty sure there's something from Ridgid or somebody that will accomplish the same thing, but the price of mine can't be beat.  It'll simplify alignment and tacking enormously.Might even get some hay baled this year...........or not (thinking of mowing it all and leaving it due to the weed load caused by the wildfire last year)"Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
