Reply:Tell ya what, we have a 120" Tennsmith brake in the shop that's seen around 20 years of hard use 5 days a week. Yes, USA made 100 or so miles from me.Just my opinion, but I think the Tennsmith is definately worth the money if you are going to use it on an every day basis. If I was buying one for my shop at home, I'd probably buy the Grizzly. Miller EconotigCutmaster 38Yes ma'am, that IS a screwdriver in my pocket!
Reply:I have the Tennsmith at the shop. It is definitely worth the extra money. We also looked at the lower priced shears before we went with the Tennsmith. It was money well spent.Contemporary Metal Wall Art and Abstract Metal Art
Reply:I wouldn't buy anything that is $900 or 2,000 and ONLY cuts 16 gauge. There is tons of used equipment floating around. I almost bought a 10 ft. shear that was 10 gauge capable for $400 but it would have taken half of my 24x24 shop. I would suggest browsing the 'net. If you can't find anything decent, let me know and i'll shoot you some links.John - fabricator extraordinaire, car nut!- bleeding Miller blue! http://www.weldfabzone.com
